At last, we lie with sated souls

Beneath the sunset bedroom knolls

Of sand dune sheets on grassy planes

Of stomach, thigh, and lions' manes,

And as I kiss your sun smelt crown

Our crumpled clothes melt on the ground.

Our skirt's and suit's unnatural pleat

Was vanquished 'neath the heaven's heat.

Your eyes are blue, your lips are red,

I die with you upon the bed.
